Thermos Project

In my Science class, we had to create a thermos out of materials we can get from a store or from our homes. The thermos would need to meet certain requirements, such as fitting in our teachers hand and not having the water drop a certain degree.

During the project, it wasn't that hard building the thermos itself, but finding the right materials. The material my group and I used didn't really do anything and they didn't help insulate the heat. My group and I used insulation foam, but it didn't dry right. The second thermos ended being worst. All in all, it was a great experience.

This project taught me about insulation and which material was high in it. This project also forces us to be creative, to think outside of the box, and to improve on our work. If something went wrong last minute, we had to think of something really quick. That was something my group and I had to do. This helps us be more prepared.
