In my Social Studies class, we reenacted a court case from the "Honda vs MGM debate". After, we got into groups of three and decided whether Honda copyrighted MGM or not.

 

            The Honda vs MGM Debate was something I really enjoyed because we got to reenact the court case. It was like a little skit and it was something new. We all kind of got to experience the whole ourselves. This helps us decide if Honda copyrighted MGM or if they didn't. After reading the lines and acting it out, we now know how it works and what it's like in a court room.

 

            This project shows my ability to debate and it improves my knowledge of the court room. Within my group, we had to take all the evidence and separate them into two groups. However, before doing that, we had to back them up with more evidence for why they belong there. This shows my ability to adapt because we had to learn how the court works and how they deal with cases.
